About Aegin Place Home Care
As your loved ones grow older, it becomes more and more difficult to protect the independence they have come to expect and enjoy. The caring companions and caregivers at Aegin Place of West Michigan in Muskegon, Michigan, are dedicated to ensuring your loved ones get home care assistance that maintains this independence. From light duty housekeeping to total care, we can meet your senior on the level they are at currently and progress forward with them.
Aegin Place of West Michigan has been providing senior, disability, and dementia care to people who wish to stay in their homes instead of moving to assisted living. We have care coordinators and care managers overseeing the care provided to ensure all clients needs are met. All of our caregivers are subject to an extensive series of background checks as well as on site training prior to working their first shift in the field. Meet The Administrative Team
Lance Gragg, Owner/CFO- I started Aegin Place of West MI. in Jan of 2006 while working from his home in Grant MI. and working for Sandmold Systems in Newaygo MI. In 2011 I moved to Muskegon to grow the business in the Muskegon area that is also where I met my wife Sandy. In 2015 I took on my first office space on Getty St in the My Space office and storage facility. In Feb. 2018 I left Sandmold system to pursue my desire of working fulltime for Aegin Place. Then June 24th 2019 we moved into their present location on Western Ave. “ I love that we are able to help the Elderly and Disabled remain in the comfort of their homes”.
Sandy Gragg, LLMSW- In 1982 I received my Certification as a Nurses Assistant thinking I wanted to pursue my career in Nursing. But having a young family I had to wait until 2001 when I started attending MCC toward a Nursing degree. Shortly I realized after a year attending MCC my calling was in Social Work. In 2002 I transferred to Grand Valley State College where in 2004 I received my Bachler’s degree in Social Work. Then in 2006 I received my Master’s degree in Social Work. After receiving my LLMSW license I went to work for DHS and North Ottawa Community Hospital. I worked at both places until 2011 where I then transferred to the DHS office in Muskegon County working for Adult Services. I worked at the Muskegon office until 2014 before leaving DHS to work with my husband at Aegin Place as a Counselor/Social Worker. I presently am counseling people in their homes that suffer from depression, anxiety, an a multitude of other dis-orders. I will also be helping people transition from their homes into independent and or assisted living facilities.
