Meet The Team
I started Aegin Place of West MI. in Jan of 2006 while working from his home in Grant MI. and working for Sandmold Systems in Newaygo MI. In 2011 I moved to Muskegon to grow the business in the Muskegon area that is also where I met my wife Sandy. In 2015 I took on my first office space on Getty St in the My Space office and storage facility. In Feb. 2018 I left Sandmold system to pursue my desire of working fulltime for Aegin Place. Then June 24th 2019 we moved into their present location on Western Ave. “ I love that we are able to help the Elderly and Disabled remain in the comfort of their homes”.
Christine Riley, Care Manager – My name is Christine Riley. I am the care manager of Aegin Place of West Michigan. I help to assist and care for our seniors and manage caregivers as well as other administrative duties. I’ve lived in Michigan my whole life, I have been a CNA for 16 years, I’ve been with Aegin Place for 5 years. I’m here to serve my community, to make a difference.
My name is Larissa Huddleston and I am the Client Care Coordinator at Aegin Place of West Michigan. I am responsible for completing Reassessments every 6 months and as needed to keep our client’s Care Plans up to date, making outside referrals to help our client’s get the care they need to be able to stay in their homes, coordinating with Dr offices with health concerns or changes, advocating for our client’s to Case Managers to increase or decrease the hours they receive for care, and other Misc administrative duties. I am originally from Montana but I moved to Michigan 2 years ago from Iowa. I am married with 4 kids. I have worked in the Healthcare Industry for the last 18 years. I started as a CNA and went on to get my LPN License. I worked in Long Term Care as a nurse for about 10 years. My passion is helping and taking care of our seniors in the community. I am very blessed to call Michigan my home and to be able to help our seniors stay in their homes for as long as possible with the help of our amazing staff.
In 1982 I received my Certification as a Nurses Assistant thinking I wanted to pursue my career in Nursing. But having a young family I had to wait until 2001 when I started attending MCC toward a Nursing degree. Shortly I realized after a year attending MCC my calling was in Social Work. In 2002 I transferred to Grand Valley State College where in 2004 I received my Bachler’s degree in Social Work. Then in 2006 I received my Master’s degree in Social Work. After receiving my LLMSW license I went to work for DHS and North Ottawa Community Hospital. I worked at both places until 2011 where I then transferred to the DHS office in Muskegon County working for Adult Services. I worked at the Muskegon office until 2014 before leaving DHS to work with my husband at Aegin Place as a Counselor/Social Worker. I presently am counseling people in their homes that suffer from depression, anxiety, an a multitude of other dis-orders. I will also be helping people transition from their homes into independent and or assisted living facilities.
Mandy Moore, Home Care Administrator – I am a Jackson College graduate who moved to West Michigan in 2016, to work as a Patient Care Coordinator. Outside of Aegin Place, I am a happily married to my Husband Tony for 15 years. I am a mother of two teenagers and a Newfoundland puppy named Odin. My passion for people has kept me driven in Health Care and I am proud to be an advocate for our clients. I chose a career in Private Duty Home Care because of the personal connection you build with each client. We aren’t just an extension of their medical team; we are a part of their family.
Kelly Ross,Marketing and recruiting director – I have been in some sort of health care setting since 1986. I discovered my passion for wanting to improve the quality of life for people a long time ago. I love working in private duty home care because of the personal connection to our clients and caregivers.
However, my greatest accomplishment is being the mother of five amazing people.
